ECPI University’s financial aid office recommends that all current and incoming students complete the newest FAFSA application for 2020-2021. This free application can help you and the financial aid office determine what assistance may be available to you in the form of federal grants, student loans, and work-study funding. To get started, visit www.FAFSA.gov
Why fill out a FAFSA form?
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the first step in the financial aid process. You use the FAFSA form to apply for federal student aid, such as grants, work-study, and loans. In addition, most states and colleges use information from the FAFSA form to award nonfederal aid.
How much student financial aid will I receive?
Using the information on your FAFSA form, the financial aid office at ECPI will determine the amount of aid you will receive. We will use this information to prepare a financial aid package to help you meet your financial need. Financial need is the difference between the cost of attendance (tuition, fees, living expenses, etc.) and your EFC. If you or your family have unusual circumstances that should be taken into account, contact the financial aid office.
Where can I receive more information on student financial aid?
The best place for information about student financial aid is the financial aid office here on campus. A financial aid administrator can tell you about student aid available from your state, the college itself and other sources. You can also visit www.studentaid.gov for more information.
