September is National Suicide Prevention Month—a crucial time to raise awareness about this urgent crisis. During this month, we focus on changing public perceptions, spreading hope, and providing essential information to those affected by suicide. Our goal is to ensure that individuals, families, and friends have the resources they need to talk about suicide prevention and seek help when needed.
Suicidal thoughts, like other mental health challenges, can impact anyone, regardless of age, gender, or background. While these thoughts are more common than many realize, they should never be considered a normal response and often signal deeper underlying issues.
